Description
Fermi line
Atomic Age – a period of nuclear technology development started from the launch of the first nuclear reactor in 1942 and proceeded by further progress of the nuclear industry which is an important part of modern technological era.
The Atomic Age collection combines 3 lines dedicated to the three greatest nuclear physicists of the 20th century: Andrei Sakharov, Robert Oppenheimer, Enrico Fermi.
Enrico Fermi – American physicist and the creator of the world’s first nuclear reactor, also called the “architect of the nuclear age”. Fermi was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1938; made significant contributions to the development of statistical mechanics, quantum theory and nuclear and particle physics.
Design combines a unique techno-futuristic polygonal anatomic shape case, tritium illumination and the best automatic and quartz movements. Case consists of two metal parts welded and fixed by 2 rivets. Special designed bright silicone straps with ventilation holes provide outstanding comfort for everyday use. Hands are brushed and skeletonized, dials have grain texture.
